Summary
The California PopTopTM for the Astar 350 was designed to protect the interior area of the Astar from heat build-up and damaging UV rays. It is ergonomically designed so it can be installed or removed in less than a minute... BY ONE PERSON! Made from Dupont Tyvek (an innovative light-weight super-strong material), it blocks 99.8% of the Sun's UV rays. Tyvek blocks and reflects so much sunlight that your cockpit will stay cool even on a 100 degree day. It will feel as if your Astar was parked in a hanger. The Astar PopTop is water resistant yet breathable, making it ideal for keeping over night dew, frost and snow off the windows during those non-summer months.

The Dupont Tyvek material has an excellent compression ratio. The Astar PopTop's storage size is a little larger than a football, permitting it to fit easily into the Astar storage compartment.

The Astar PopTop is Easily Installed and Removed!
The Astar PopTop was designed to be installed or removed in less than a minute
...by one person...for real!
The PopTop clips to the transmission cover latch on each side to position the cover on the Astar.

A nylon strap on each lower rear corner of the Astar PopTop is wrapped around the skid support, pulling the cover securely over the nose and roof of the helicopter when tightened.
The Astar PopTop fits so securely it is unaffected by near-by "prop-wash."

The Astar PopTop has a opening that easily slips over and around the roof-mounted temperature probe. This flap-covered opening is designed to maintain coverage of the roof window with or without the probe in this position.
The cover is also available for Astars equipped with wire strike kits and alternative blade tie-down points.

|
A draw cord in the rear hem of the cover, which is positioned over the roof, is tightened to position the cover around various roof antenna configurations.
