Summary
The California PopTopTM helicopter cover was designed to protect the interior area, cockpit instruments and electronics from heat build-up and damaging UV rays. It is ergonomically designed so it can be installed or removed in less than a minute... BY ONE PERSON! Made from Dupont Tyvek (an innovative light-weight super-strong material), it blocks 99.8% of the Sun's UV rays. Tyvek blocks and reflects so much sunlight that your cockpit will stay cool even on a 100 degree day. It will feel as if your helicopter was parked in a hanger.

Reference the thermal imaging photo on the home page showing the California PopTop on an automobile. Even though it was 105 degrees that day, and the body reached a temperature of 147 degrees, (after 3 hours) the area covered with our covers ranged in temperature between 65 and 80 degrees.
The PopTop helicopter cover is water resistant yet breathable, making it ideal for keeping over night dew, frost and snow off the windows during those non-summer months.

Better Window Coverage, Less Hassle and Less Cost than a Set of Sun Shades!
The DuPont Tyvek material has an excellent compression ratio. The PopTop helicopter cover storage size is a little larger than a football, permitting it to fit easily into the storage compartment.
